The Curtis P-40 Warhawk

The iconic image of America’s early years in WW II. The Curtis P-40 Warhawk gained everlasting fame as the a/c flown by the American Volunteer Group in China during the early days of WW II. The Tuskegee Airman trained in the P-40 while they were assigned to Selfridge in 1943. This particular a/c is in the markings of the AVG’s greatest ace, David Lee ‘Tex’ Hill. We’re glad to have it at our show.
